2NE1 and Lady Gaga? & Mnet Countdown!

US Pop star Lady Gaga and 2NE1, who were arranged to appear on the same stage, has drawn attention from their sudden meeting.

2NE1 who has been performing wonderfully as a new artist, will be on the 18th at the Sanamdong NooriGgoom Square, appearing on the live broadcasting of Mnet Mcountdown. This is the first cable music program that they will be appearing on.

Especially on this day's broadcast, it has been let known that Lady Gaga, who arrived in Korea on the 16th, will appear on the stage, and their meeting is gathering much interest.

Prior 2NE1's debut, they had a strange tie with Lady Gaga. Teddy (producer of Fire) was called to the US at the time by Interscope representative Jimmy Aibin(?). At the place they met, he was offered a proposal to collaborate with Lady Gaga, but because he was producing 2NE1's debut album, he turned it down.

On the 16th, MCountdown reps said that "On the 18th, Lady gaga will have a special stage." and told people to anticipate it.

Moreover, ex wonder girl member Hyunah's group 4minute will be making their debut on this day.

Mnet M! Countdown here THEY come!

2NE1 will be performing at Mnet M! Countwdon on 18th June 2009.

YG Entertainment said on the 16th via phone interview, "We have decided for the girls to perform on M!Countdown coming 18th. However for the music shows this weekend, we have not yet decided about it." All this while the girls have been performing just once a week to focus on the quality of their performance. Whether they will perform more than twice this week has not been confirmed.

So guys, did Lady Gaga performed in Mnet Countdown? wasn't able to watch the performance of 2NE1 so busy. But it's ok 'coz there's still YOUTUBE. He! He! He! Their getting better each performances.

neko, i think that we should give 4minute the benefit of the doubt. when 2ne1 performed the second time, everybody said that they did better than their debut... so i think we should approach it differently.

and also, m countdown has a really poor sound system.. that could be the reason as well because even lady gaga's performance was kinda weak audio wise.
