Previously, we reported that a few photos that had been uploaded onto the net showed hints of a possible second season of 2NE1 TV. Unfortunately, it’s been revealed that the filming at the mart was instead for 2NE1’s 1 year anniversary party.
2NE1 recently hit their one year milestone since their debut with Fire back in 2009. A representative of YG Entertainment revealed that the girls held a big party on the 24th to celebrate and that they even did their own grocery shopping.
The photos that member Sandara Park had put on her me2DAY account all pointed to season 2 of 2NE1 TV. Leader CL was seen being driven around by Sandara with a camera latched in the front of the cart. The YG rep specifically mentioned that the members did their own grocery, perhaps to dismiss the buzz going around that the photos were from 2NE1 TV.
Dara later sent out a message saying that while Minji and Park Bom were in charge of decorations and serving, Dara had been given the duty of being in the video with CL who also had to work in the kitchen.
